Homemade Instant Oats Dosa Recipe
Ingredients:
3/4 cup oats
1/2 cup rice flour
1/4 cup rawa ( semolina)
1 big chopped onion
2-3 chopped green chillies
some chopped corainder leaves
1 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
1/2 tbsp coarse pepper powder
salt as per taste
Method:
In a grinder jar grind the oats into a fine powder.
In a bowl add the oats powder, rice flour, rawa, salt, jeera and pepper. Mix all the ingredients together then add about 5 cups water and allow it to rest for 10-15 minutes.
Mix again and only if required add some more water as it has to be a thin consistency batter. Then add the chopped onions, chillies and corainder leaves.
Heat a non stick dosa tawa and allow it to become very hot then pour a big ladle of the batter evenly in a circular motion . Sprinkle some oil all around the dosa and cook on medium flame till brown and crispy.
Alternatively you can sprinkle the chopped onions on the hot tawa instead of adding it in the batter then pour a ladle full of the batter in a circular motion and cook till brown and crispy.
Remove in a plate and repeat the process till all the batter is used up.
Serve this yummy and crispy Dosa with green chutney or coconut chutney.
