Homemade Sweet Potato Waffles Recipe

Ingredients:
500 gms sweet potatoes / Shakarkandi
2-3 nos green chillies finely chopped
2 tbsp pudina/mint leaves finely chopped
4 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp jeera / jeera powder
1 tsp chaat masala powder
1.5 tsp amchur/ mango powder
salt as per taste
oil or ghee for cooking
Method:
Wash the sweet potatoes properly then place them in a pressure cooker with some water . Boil them for about 5 minutes or upto 3 whistles.
Once the pressure is released open the cooker and remove the sweet potatoes . Allow them to cool then peel and mash them to form a smooth paste.
Add all the spices, salt, green chillies , chopped pudina and coriander leaves in it and mix well to form a soft dough.
Make equal size balls of the dough. Keep in the refrigerator for about half an hour.
Pre heat a mini waffle machine then grease it with some ghee and place a sweet potato ball in it. Close and cook till brown and crispy on both sides.
Repeat the process till all the balls are cooked.
Remove in a serving dish and sprinkle some coriander leaves and chaat masala all over them.
