Homemade Tofu Curry Recipe

Ingredients:
500 gms firm tofu
2 nos big onions sliced
2 big tomatoes chopped into cubes
1 no green chilli chopped into big pieces
3-4 garlic pods
1/4 cup coriander leaves
3 tbsp cashewnuts
3 -4 whole red chillies
1 tbsp whole coriander seeds
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
salt as per taste
Method:
In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil then saute the onions till translucent, to it add the chopped tomatoes, green chillies, coriander leaves, garlic , cashews, salt , turmeric powder , garam masala, whole chillies and coriander seeds along with 1/2 cup water and cook on low flame till the water dries.
Allow the above masala to cool down. Then in a grinder jar grind the masala into a fine paste. Keep aside for future use.
Cut the tofu into small square cubes.
In a pan heat 1 tbsp ghee and transfer the masala paste into it. Cook on low flame till it leaves the pan or ghee drops are seen on the top.
Add the cut tofu cubes with 1 cup water. Cover and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
Remove in a serving bowl .
Enjoy this healthy and yummy tofu curry with steam rice.
