Homemade Dahi Wali Bhindi Recipe

Ingredients:
500 gms bhindi/okra
1/2 cup curds/yogurt
1/4 cup skinless crushed peanuts ( 1 small whole red chilli) optional)
2 chopped medium onions
1 chopped green chilli
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 tsp jeera/cumin
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tbsp coriander powder
salt as per taste
some chopped coriander leaves
Method:
Wash and then cut the top and tail of all the bhindi , Chop them into round pieces. Keep aside for future use.
Take a bowl add all the chopped bhindi then pour the curds all over it along with the peanuts. Add the turmeric, chilli, coriander powders and salt over it. Mix and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Take a kadai heat some oil then add the jeera when it splutters add the ginger then the onions and green chilli, Cook on low to medium flame till the onions are pinkish in colour. Add the marinated bhindi to the onions. Cover and cook on low flame stirring at intervals till the bhindi is soft and cooked and oil is seen on the sides of the kadai.
Remove in a serving dish and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
Enjoy this yummy sabzi with chapati or parathas.
