Homemade Liquid Dough Masala Paratha Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups wheat flour

  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic

  • 1/2 tbsp chopped ginger

  • 3-4 chopped green chillies

  • 2 tbsp kasuri methi ( dried fenugreek leaves)

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tbsp chilli powder

  • 1 tbsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp jeera (cumin ) powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1/4 tsp asefodita

  • salt as per taste

  • oil or ghee

Method :

  1. In a bowl add all the above ingredients and mix well.

  2. Add water little by little and keep mixing so that there are no lumps till you get a flowing consistency batter like dosa batter. Allow it to rest for 20 minutes.

  3. Heat a non stick tawa and pour a ladle full of the batter and spread it evenly . It should not be very thin.

  4. Cook on medium flame for a minute then flip to another side. Again leave it for a minute and then flip it again.

  5. Press the paratha all over with a spoon and it will start to puff up then apply some oil or ghee, flip and cook again on the other side.

  6. Flip and cook 3-4 times till it is cooked on both sides. Remove on a plate.

  7. Repeat the process till all the batter is used up.

Serve this soft and spongy paratha with yogurt and pickle.
