Homemade Moringa Flower Sabzi Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup moringa (drumstick ) flowers
1 small chopped tomato
1 small potato sliced into half inch pieces
1 tsp mustard seeds
4-5 whole peppers
2 green chilies chopped into big pieces
1 tsp chopped garlic
salt as per taste
some chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
Firstly pluck the flowers from the stem . Wash and allow all the water to drain out.
In a pan boil some water with a little salt and then boil the flowers on medium flame for 5-7 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
Take a grinder jar and grind the mustard, pepper seeds and chilies to a fine paste.
In a pan heat 1 tbsp oil then saute the garlic. Add the potatoes , cover and cook the potatoes on low flame stirring at intervals for 5 minutes then add the paste, salt and half cup water and cook again till the potatoes are fully cooked.
Add the blanched flowers cover and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes then add the chopped tomatoes and cook again till the tomatoes are mushy.
Remove in a serving dish and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
Serve this healthy sabzi with chapati or moringa paratha .
