Homemade Bread Samosa Recipe

Ingredients :
5 nos boiled potatoes/aloo
10 nos big white sandwich bread slices
4-5 green chilli chopped finely
1/4 cup coriander leaves chopped finely
1/2 tbsp ginger chopped finely
1 tsp pepper powder
2 tsp amchur / mango powder
salt as per taste
1 tsp jeera/ cumin seeds
2 tsp sauf/ fennel seeds
1.5 tsp whole coriander seeds
2 tbsp ghee/oil
oil for deep frying
Method:
Boil, peel and roughly mash the potatoes.
Dry roast lightly the jeera, coriander seeds and sauf then roughly grind them together.
In a pan heat the ghee/oil then saute the roasted spices for half a second then to it add the ginger and green chillies, saute it for a second.
Add the potatoes, salt, pepper and amchur powder. Mix well and cook on low flame for a minute. Add the chopped coriander leaves and mix.
Remove in a plate and allow it to cool.
Cut the sides of all the bread slices. Do not throw the sides but make bread crumbs out of them by grinding it in a grinder on pulse mode.
Take a bread slice and thinly roll it with a rolling pin. Then cut it diagonally. Cut slightly all the corners of the bread slices. Repeat the process for all the bread slices.
Take a bread slice and brush some water on all the sides. Make and fold into the shape of a cone. Place some potato filling in it and then close the sides to make a samosa .
Repeat the process for the remaining bread slices.
In a kadai heat some oil then put the flame on medium and fry the samosa in small batches till they are golden brown in colour.
Enjoy these yummy and crispy samosas with some ketchup and green chutney.
