Homemade Murmura Tikki Recipe

Ingredients:
4 nos small boiled potatoes
2 nos small onions chopped finely
2-3 nos green chilles chopped finely
2 tsp ginger chopped finely
2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped finely
2 tbsp besan/ gram flour
1 cup murmura /puffed rice
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp amchur powder
salt as per taste
2-3 tbsp rawa / semolina for coating
oil for shallow frying
Method:
Boil, peel and mash the potatoes.
Add the chopped onions , green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, salt and all the spices together to the mashed potatoes. Then add the murmura, besan and 2 tsp water. Mix well to make a soft dough.
Make equal size balls of the dough and roll into round smooth balls.
Coat each ball with the rawa and keep aside.
In a frying pan heat some oil then place one by one the tikki and cook on low flame till golden brown on both sides.
Remove in a serving dish.
Enjoy with some green chutney or ketchup .
