Ingredients:
1 cup quinoa atta/flour
1 cup water
1.5 tbsp oil
salt as per taste
Method:
Seive the quinoa atta and keep aside.
In a vessel boil one cup water then add the salt , one tbsp oil and quinoa atta . Mix well and then switch off the flame.
Allow the mixture to cool. When it is warm enough to knead, make a smooth and soft dough. Grease the dough with the remaining oil and make equal size balls of the entire dough.
Take a dough ball dust it with some flour and roll into a small round medium thickness chapati. If the edges of the chapati are not even, cut it with a sharp katori or steel box cover.
Heat a tawa and place the rolled roti on it then cook on one side for a second then flip and cook on the other side pressing with a wooden chapati presser, in the same manner you would make a chapati.
Repeat the process till all the dough balls are used up.
Enjoy these healthy and gluten free chapati with your choice of sabzi or dal.
