Homemade Mooli /Radish Chutney Recipe

Ingredients:
1 no big mooli/ radish
2 nos tomatoes
2-3 nos green chillies chopped into big pieces
2-3 nos garlic pods or 1 tsp crushed garlic
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
2 tbsp mustard oil
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp roasted pomegranate powder ( optional)
salt as p ear taste
Method:
Peel, wash dry pat and grate the mooli . Keep it aside for 5 minutes then squeeze out all the water from the grated mooli.
Wash and cut the tomatoes into half.
In a non stick pan heat 2 tbsp mustard oil then place the tomatoes and chopped green chillies on it.
Cook on low flame covering the pan for 3-4 minutes till the tomatoes are soft or the peel/skin comes off.
When the tomatoes are cooled remove the peel/skin from them and keep aside.
In a mortar place the tomatoes, green chillies, garlic and with a pestle grind it into a fine paste then add the grated mooli, all the spices, salt and chopped coriander leaves and again grind.
Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
Enjoy this spicy mooli chutney as a side dish with your meals.
