Homemade Rajma Galouti Kebab Recipe

Ingredients For Masala:
1/4 cup coriander leaves
8-10 pudina/mint leaves
3 nos big garlic pods
4 nos green chillies
1 inch chopped ginger
1/4 cup fried onions
7-8 kaju
Ingredients For Kebab:
2 cups boiled rajma / red kidney beans or rajma tin/can
above masala paste
1/2 tbsp chilli power
2 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
salt as per taste
Method:
Wash , soak the rajma overnight or for 4-5 hours. Drain and then pressure cooker it with some water and 1 tsp salt on medium flame for 15-20 minutes. Once the pressure is released drain out all the water and allow it to dry. If using tin drain the rajma and wash it under running drinking water.
In a grinder jar grind all the rajma into a very fine smooth paste, do not add any water to it. Keep aside for future use.
Add all the above ingredients of the masala to a grinder jar and grind to form a very fine smooth paste. Add very little water only if required.
In a bowl add the rajma paste, masala paste , salt, chilli powder, garam masala, cardamon powder and nutmeg powder. Mix well to form a soft dough.
Wet your hands and pinch some dough to make small round medium thickness ball then flatten them . Repeat the process till all the dough is used up.
Heat a non stick pan with a little oil then slowly and carefully place one by one the rolled kebab. Cook on medium to low flame till golden brown on both sides.
Remove them directly in to a serving dish.
