Homemade Raw Mango Thecha Recipe

Course : Side Dish

Cuisine: Indian

Servings: 6-8 pax

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time : 5 minutes

Making Time : 5 minutes

Total Time: 15 minute

Ingredients:

  • 1 big raw mango ( kachi kairi)

  • 1/4 cup peanuts without skin

  • 6 nos green chillies

  • 3 nos garlic pods

  • 1/4 cup dhania / coriander leaves

  • 1 tbsp peanut oil or any other cooking oil

  • salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Wash, peel then chop the raw mango into small pieces.

  2. Clean and wash the dhania leaves. Keep aside for future use.

  3. In a pan heat the oil then roast the peanuts for a minute on low flame till slightly golden brown in colour . Then to it add the green chillies and garlic. Cook for another 1 minute.

  4. Remove in a plate and allow it to cool.

  5. Add all the roasted ingredients, dhania leaves and salt in a grinder and grind to a coarse paste on pulse mode. Alternatively grind in a hand mortar with a pestle.

Enjoy this spicy, tangy and crunchy thecha with chapati or dal and chawal.
