Homemade Red Chutney for Mysore Masala Dosa Recipe

Ingredients:
1/2 cup roasted split gram dal ( dalia)
6-8 whole red spicy chillies
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp chopped garlic or 6-7 garlic pods
1/2 lemon juice
salt as per taste
Method:
In a grinder add all the above ingredients and grind to a fine paste adding 2-3 tbsp water.
Remove in a serving bowl.
On a non stick medium hot dosa tawa spread 1 big ladle of dosa batter and spread it evenly in a circular motion. Sprinkle some oil all over it and cook on medium to high flame till brown and crispy . Then spread some red chutney all over the dosa and place some aloo sabji on one side. Fold and remove onto a plate.
