Homemade Vada Pav Wrap Recipe

Ingredients For Besan / Gramflour Chilla Batter :
1.5 cups besan/ gramflour
1/4 tsp asefodita
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt as per taste
oil for cooking
Ingredients For Aloo Stuffing:
4 nos boiled mashed potatoes
2-3 strings chopped curry leaves
1 tsp crushed ginger
6-7 nos crushed green chillies
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
1/2 lemon juice
1.5 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt as per taste
2-3 tbsp green chutney
2 tbsp red garlic chutney
2-3 tbsp sweet & sour chutney
Method:
Sieve the besan then mix the asefodita, turmeric powder and salt in it . Slowly add water little by little to make a pouring consistency batter. Keep this besan batter aside for future use.
In a kadia heat 3 tbsp oil then add the mustard seed when it splutters add the chopped curry leaves, crushed ginger, green chillies and saute for a second then add the turmeric powder, mashed boiled potatoes and salt. Mix well and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes. Switch off the gas then add the chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice. Aloo stuffing is ready .
Heat a non stick tawa then pour a ladle of the besan batter on it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa. Sprinkle some oil all over it and cook on low to medium flame till light brown in colour from below. Flip and cook on the other side just for a second then again flip back. Remove on a plate.
Make a cut in the center halfway. Spread some green chutney in one quarter, red chutney in second quarter, sweet chutney in the thirdr quarter and some aloo stuffing in the last quarter as seen below in the 4th image. Lift and place one quarter of the besan chilla on the second , second on the third and third on the fourth. Cut the wrap into half.
