Homemade Broccoli Sabzi Recipe

Ingredients:
300 gms broccoli
2 nos chopped onions
2 nos chopped tomatoes
1 no chopped green chilli
½ tbsp chopped ginger
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1.5 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp jeera/ cumin powder
2 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp kasuri /dried fengureek methi leaves
some chopped coriander leaves
salt as per taste
Method:
Clean the broccoli into medium size florets then wash it properly. Keep aside for future use.
In an earthen vessel or kadia heat 2-3 tbsp oil then add the jeera when it splutters saute the ginger then add the onions. Saute the onions till it is pinkish in colour. To it add the turmeric, chopped green chilli and tomatoes. Cook on low to medium flame till mushy and oil is seen on the sides.
Add all the spices, salt and kasuri methi and give it a good stir. Then add the washed broccoli. Mix well. Cover and cook on low flame stirring occasionally till the broccoli is cooked and soft.
Switch off the gas and remove in a serving dish and garnish with some chopped corainder leaves.
